Helios wins contract to carry out Baltic FAB feasibility study
Wednesday, 04 August 2010 08:01

Helios has recently been engaged to carry out the feasibility study for the establishment of the Baltic Functional Airspace Block (FAB)

This will involve working with the Polish and Lithuanian ANSPs, regulators and other stakeholders to help identify the costs and benefits of moving towards a FAB, the potential obstacles that must be overcome, and the wider economic implications of this cooperation. We will also examine the opportunities from cooperation with Poland and Lithuania’s neighbours.

The study is due to be completed in September 2011.
