The answer was Santiago in Chile. Santa travels to each continent in alphabetical order, then to the capital of the country that has the most southern latitude.

As a result of all the solutions received we are pleased to announce that we have donated £775 to the UK Disasters Emergency Committee. The DEC is an umbrella organisation for 13 UK aid agencies who provide humanitarian emergency relief in times of disaster such as flood, earthquake or famine wherever it happens in the world.
