The specialist ATM teams from Egis and Helios are looking forward to welcoming visitors to stand 333 at World ATM Congress between 7-9 March. New on the stand this year is a light-hearted Virtual Reality ATC game to take part in, but the more serious topics of conversation are expected to be around ATC developments, cyber-security, remote technologies, and Single European Sky.
To energise the ATM systems debate, on Wednesday 8th March at 2pm Helios chairman Mike Shorthose will talk on ATM System Modernisation – the case for more targeted funding. His short talk takes place on the stand and will be followed by a Drinks Reception - all welcome!
Other members of the team will be presenting on industry hot topics in the Tower Theatre:
- Tuesday 7th March 10:20 am – 10:40am, Herve Drevillon from Egis: "New airport ATC and cockpit systems: toward the integrated management of surface operations"
- Wednesday 8th March 10:20 am – 10:40am, Matt Shreeve from Helios (joined with Tobias Hjartsjo from LFV) : "ATM Cyber-security: roadmap to reality – an industry case study".
- Wednesday 8th March 11:20am – 11:40am, a presentation led by Mikael Mabilleau of Egis: "GNSS developments: opportunities and challenges in aviation applications".
