On 10th September we were officially presented with the Queen's Award by Dame Mary Fagan, Lord-Lieutenant of Hampshire and her Deputy Lieutenant, Andrew Kent.

Andrew Kent first read the Citation before Dame Mary presented Helios Managing Director Mike Shorthose with the glass rosebowl and the Grant of Appointment.

Helios won the Queen's Award for Enterprise in the International Trade category last April for doubling its exports to an aggregate of £18m over 6 years and securing new customers in 15 countries.

"Winning this award for the second time is a tremendous achievement for Helios. Since 2004 it has been a brilliant support for our work in expanding our business. It is a very prestigious award and we are all very proud for having won this again", said Mike Shorthose.
